The technology of SPRINT spans several domains:

- On-board and Wearable Sensing
- Real-Time Simulation
- Virtual Reality Environment
The Virtual Reality Environment has been developed using the XVR technology with some special addition for improved visual quality, timing and flexibility. The system scaled from 2D/3D local screen to large 3-screen environment as at the SKILLS Review or to CAVE. Special care has been given to the synchronisation between the moving platform and the visualizations. An update version based on Unity 3D technology is being developed for improved portability and testing with HMD technologies.
