Overview

The research point at the realization of a portable robotic endoscope. The aim is too realize an affordable priced tool able to improve the surgeon dexterity during Minimally Invasive Surgery operations. The main feature of such device will be the portability (surgeon will keep the master-slave device in his hands) and the presence of disposable parts in order to avoid sterilization processes.

This device would be a cost effective alternative to the more complex and expensive robotic system that can be found on the market.
